The Hottest Heels On And Off The Catwalk

Less is more for LFW FW23

Now that London Fashion Week has wrapped up for another year, it’s time to delve into the hottest styles that were spotted both on and off the runway to ensure we are staying on top of our style icon era.

A huge takeaway is that designers were utilizing minimal heels to compliment a dramatic outfit without being overpowering. We saw a lot of Stessy lookalikes on the runway, whether they were paired with tights or layered with leg warmers – the slinky pointed court heel was a huge hit this year in a variety of colours and textures.

And we all know that when a designer makes our jaw drop, everyone adopts that new style faster than the speed of lighting, so it’s no surprise we saw huge names like Jodie Comer in a black Stessy lookalike with a gorgeous bow detail and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley sat front row with partner Jason Statham in a classic patent black Stessy-esque shoe to finish off her elegant outfit.

If you want a great example of utilizing a plain court heel to emphasize a big and bold look, Lisa Rinna nailed it at Richard Quinn’s A/W2023 show with a plain black Stessy lookalike to compliment the duvet-inspired floral gown with a matching padded scarf. The oversized ankle-length boxy dress with drop sleeves would have felt too overpowering if the star paired it with a chunky boot or platform heel, but keeping it simple with sleek footwear gives the balance needed to take it from ordinary to extraordinary.

Whether you’re pairing your new Stessy with a simple and chic outfit or whether you’re aiming to stand out from the crowd, there’s multiple styles, colours, prints and patterns to suit your look.
